Organisation

Alen Soldic and Eva Zwicker are organising the Dogfrisbee European Championship 2013 USDDN in Switzerland. They established the dogfrisbee group Discdog-Ostschwiiz in 2009. The group and its friends will help them to host this international event. At present DDO (short for Discdog-Ostschwiiz) is the largest discdog group in Switzerland. The trainers of DDO play dogfrisbee on an international level and love to share their expertise.
The DDO Frisbee Group has about twenty members. Some of us play frisbee for several years, others have begun recently. For our group the most important thing is to have fun with our dogs and improve relationship and communication with them. Therefore each handler has to join a beginners class for at least 10 lessons before beeing admitted to the open group.
We train our tricks and throws together each sunday. Different kinds of dogs in various sizes run after the discs, having fun.
Some of our discdog group participate in competitions all over Europe. At these events it’s important for us to become part of the whole gathering and live team spirit.
